How You Can Help

We have been collecting computer donations from various sources to set-up centers that will provide public access to a wide range of computer applications and on-line services. We need your help in pulling this initiative together particularly if you have skills in the following areas:

  1. network configuration.
  2. hardware assessment.
  3. on-site hardware and software support.

Join us to help open our doors to the people in our community who want to learn about and use computer technology.. Our first task is to have working committees to help us decide on: Hardware/Software Set-Up , Fundraising, Policies and Procedures, Volunteer Recruitment and Marketing , Volunteer and User Training. We hope you will sign on to be part of one of these committees. We will also be looking for people to be at the GNBC3 during our public access hours (schedule TBA) to help people "get their feet wet" on a computer application or to troubleshoot a problem . Call Corinn Williams at PACE/GET-UP (508)979-4684 or corinn@juno.com to sign up as an GNBC3 volunteer or if you have any questions or ideas about this exciting project .
